Hiking Grass Point State Park

We had listed Grass Point State Park
on our original list because we have always enjoyed this park and its beautiful
Thousand Islands waterfront. We noticed that on their trail map they show
a .9 mile long "snowmobile trail" across the middle of their
property. When we went to check it out earlier this summer we were disappointed
to find that at least for the summer months, it is not a maintained trail that
is hike-able. But we decided to still list Grass Point because there is a
very short waterfront hike that is lovely enough not to exclude from the
list. 
We made a much longer hike out of it
by hiking from Gals - home of the largest ice cream cone in the Thousand
Islands, down to the waterfront trail, and back.
