Singer Castle on Dark Island in the Thousand Islands Open and Welcomes You to Visit.

It’s Time to Open the Castle 

Bright sunshine, pleasant temperatures and a calm river graced the opening of the 11th season 
at Singer Castle on Dark Island on Saturday, May 18th. Returning staff members look forward to 
another season of guiding visitors through Frederick Bourne’s historic “hunting lodge.”

The Castle will be open weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tours starting hourly through 4:00 
p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon until 4:00 p.m. with the final tour of the day 
beginning at 3:00 p.m.  From June 20th thru Labor Day the castle will be open daily then
