President of Singer Castle on Dark Island
This past week Singer Castle staff journeyed to Syracuse for the
Central New York Boat Show at the NYS Fairgrounds. Tom Weldon covered the
booth almost full time and put together an eye catching display that included
two monitors. One that showed a looping series of photos of the
castle and island and the other that showed videos of the island and
the region. Pam Thomas, Logan Kring and I took over the booth in the Exhibition
Center for several hours on Saturday and we had the pleasure of speaking with
old friends and spreading the word about the "other"
castle in the 1000 Islands. We also encouraged visitors to extend
their visits to the region to include a trip to the Aquatarium which
will be opening in Brockville, ON in the late Spring.
There are plans for the castle to be represented
at upcoming shows in and around New York State [so please stay tuned for further information].
